Climate Change and Livelihoods

Environment and climatic changes have a disproportionate impact on poor people living on the fringes of our communities often leading to further discrimination and poverty.

We help communities affected by climate change and natural disasters to profile local risks by identifying the range, impact and frequency of risks they face, supporting local action and learning among the at risk communities for them to respond and adapt in ways that improve their conditions.

We provide guidance to policy makers at national and local governments so that public policies and programmes mainstream climate change.
